So any minute now that tax return of mine should be here. My turn out this year is pretty nice and Im going to start working on my car soon. First things first, window tint. My state (Minnesota) is dumb as hell and the law states nothing darker then 50% and no front window visor line/tint. So knowing my town is dumb (Rosemount) and they radar tint because they have nothing to do, do you guys have any pictures of your cars tinted up? I know I've seen some on here and what not, but Im curious what 50 looks like and what type. Like I was thinking since you can get something 20% reflective (again, law) maybe doing a dark silverish tint with 20% because thats probably the best bet for me. I just dont feel like paying any tickets if I do do the tint. My car is "titanium silver" or whatever it is. Just wanted to see some pictures with tint is what Im getting at. Preferably 50% and the different colors on lancers so I can make up my mind kinda, because my state sucks

 

Your car is thunder gray mettalic like mine . I would just get the black tint...ive never been a fan of any other color tint. Here in MO its any % on the back windows and 35% on the front ones..and we can have a small eyebrow. Heres my car in the same color with tint.

 

yea dude keep it black please, as dark as you can get it to stay legal

 

Thats what sucks, they say 50%, and I feel the same way, black is the only way to be with it, its just lame only 50%. I feel like its so light, I may just push it and try 35% and run with it for a while and see what happens or something.

 

I would do at least 30-35%
Then again, I've had my car since 2002 and still haven't tinted my windows

 

na, just go all the way for VIP and go 5%. just make sure to roll your windows down when driving by cops, lol. but it will look WAY better.

 

I run 10% on the back and 15% on the front. Looks clean on my car but then again my front tints are illegal. Supposed to be 35% but the cops have no means to enforce it since 95% of cops in Vegas have tinted windows on their cruisers. Only time I've ever seen a cop enforce tint law is on me cuz he had nothing better to do. All Nevada police agencies took tint radars out of service and the cops have to buy it themselves. Cost roughly $500 for a decent radar. Cops who buy one have nothing better to do >:[

That 2% all around looks so mean, and thats what I wanna do but I know I will get pulled over tons. I do see a lot of MN people with pretty dark tint on different rides, roughly like 30 to 35% all around all the time even front window but of course I dont ask those people if they get pulled over a lot and what not. I know a lot of suburbs up here radar because we dont get too much sunshine up here so they are gay. But that 2% is so ideal, looks so sick, I might just do it and roll windows down a lot....even when its -20 in the winter haha.

 

How good is you night time visibility with those anyway?

 

Pretty poor^ My buddy had some 2% tint (he's gotten a few tickets for it) and just trying to look into his side view mirrors is hard at night, he usually had to roll his windows down just to see

 

^^^ That's a bit too dark for my taste. Yea it'll look good, but if it hinders me, I don't want it...

 

It looks way sick, I wasn't being serious about the 2%. I'd get pulled over probably 2 blocks away from where I get it tinted. Im most likely going to go with 35%. Its dark but still seems legit enough to where I should be okay as long as I dont get radar'd!

 

35% isnt dark at all .
I wouldn't do anything under 20% Imo
