Talking My new part

So I started yesterday, by driving 2 hrs. to go pick up a Carbon Fiber trunk. I got a steal on it is why I drove that far for it. Here are some pics, let me know what you guys think. My new part-100_1906.jpg

I should have it on today, so hopefully I can get it done before I go to work.

I define steal by, getting a 700 vis carbon trunk for 150 buck, plus one tank of gas, but the speeding ticket I got on the way home is the only downfall

The trooper said I didn't have my seatbelt on when he passed, got me for 72 in a 55 (dropped it to 65 in a 55) and told me my tv mounted where the cubby hole in front of the shifter is illegal. What a jerk. I guess he just wanted to get somebody good that day so he could go do "paperwork" in an empty parking lot.

Oh well I still got a carbon trunk officer

I agree 100%
And if I want to go to court about it I have to drive almost an hour to get there and I don't even know where the court house is

I didn't even mention that the guy I bought it from never even used it. It was still in the little protectors that are on the corners. He said he bought it and didn't know if it would look good on his yellow OZ
I wasn't going to say I am sure it would. I handed him the money and drove away

so put it on already
but be careful it is so much lighter that you have to remove one of the spring bars or it will shoot the lid over the car

yeah if you look under the ends look like [___ crude example but...just put a screw driver in for leverage and pry it out it wont break but once you get it unhooked be careful its got a lot of tension twisted in there so stand back and do it at arms length

That sound terrible

Unfortunately I can't put it on yet. I am about to leave to take my daughter to an easter egg hunt. So I don't have enough time to transfer the latch and everything over. Maybe afterwards..................

Well my little girl had a blast. They tried doing games next, but she's only 3. I knew it wasn't going to work out. Oh well at least she had fun.
RALLIART- how in the world do I get that spring bar out? the screwdriver didn't work for me. I was trying everything, just couldn't get it to come loose. I did open it though to see what you meant and it flew open. Will my spoiler make some of hat go away?
