I didn't skip anything. The graph I posted was the only one that compared both cars. And they didn't even do them back to back on the same day, so its not worth more then a discussion. Finding other graphs of modded STi's is irrelevant when you are trying to assert one car over the other. I'm sure they have plenty of impressive Evo graphs they could post as well.

Actually that doesn't translate to the Evo being better, only in your head does that statement mean that. They also state that they've never seen an Evo make the same torque, that the STI is a better autocross and track car and that the STI has great potential. They apparently like both cars but of course that means the Evo is better.

Key phrases: upper hand, stinks, far superior, much bigger, scant, hard to beat. Yeah its tough to make a conclusion from such vagueness. 
So? It was you who said if you have big power goals the stock turbo doesn't matter, so why all this fascination on two cars with stock turbos. Obviously if you want more torque with an Evo you can run a stroker and/or a bigger turbo. So what they haven't seen a stock block/stock turbo Evo over come a half liter displacement defecit. Irrelevant.

Absolutely.
They're comparing like to like, stock turbo to stock turbo. Nobody is denying that the Evo has a better stock turbo, nobody is denying that the Evo makes more HP with the stock turbo but AMS is clearly stating that the STI makes more torque. Sure you can stroke the Evo but you can also replace the turbo in the STI.
And if you replace the turbo in the STI you can have a larger displacement engine mated to a big turbo.
Oh the fanboyism is hilarious. People don't even have to mention the Evo and you feel the need to **** on the STI.

Anyway, you can't go wrong with either car - with either one you're driving a turbo AWD 4 banger that has amazing performance. The only downside... the common folk think you are driving around a loud riced out Accord.
