The last one was richmond center, all the rest was on gilbert rd one of the parking lots for the richmond bowling club i think...i just like the apartments xD

and yeah i have a whole list of mods in my head, but im a student! i feel so broke *** =\ I did just paint the middle of the front bumper and the chrome part of the grill yesterday, i figured it was a affordable way to start with some mods.

I did it myself, heres the finished look:

I didnt get a chance to rinse the bottom before i snapped the pic, but u get the idea. It works really well and the Duplicolour bumper paint is supposed to hold up really well, i do a lot of hwy driving though so i excpect to have to sand it down and re do it annualy.

you've prob already seen the thread on how to do it, if not... here u gohttps://www.evolutionm.net/forums/lancer-how-requests-questions-tips/296111-how-painting-middle-front-bumper.html

wow, you really did a good job, I asked several bodyshops about painting the grill to black, but they all said the chrome grill is hard to paint. I guess I need you to help me out. lol

really the chrome was the easiest! if u follow the guide on how to remove the grill for painting the bumper, once the grills in your hands its like 'might as well' there are...5 screws i believe that keep the honeycomb and the symbol attached to the chrome part...which isnt even chrome its like sum high density plastic with a chrome finish, take a 600 grit sand paper, and i dry sanded it and sprayed it with the same stuff as the bumper... super easy cuz everything chrome that u'd want to paint is already off the car and by itself!
the best tip i can give u that i picked up on really fast, is sand it horizontally, so that when ur spraying (esp the bumper) you want the paint to be carried horizontally so there are no drip marks, if you sand vertically the paint ismore likely to drip down and cause weirdness. xD

the best part is the cost, 10bucks for the paint at canadian tire, 1.50 for the tape at walmart!

i like the matte finish, and the duplicolour paint specifically for bumpers holds up well, only time will tell
