New Look: Teaser front end: OZ

So, I ordered a new grille, let me know what you think...
should I repaint RR or leave it Black? I think it looks pretty BA black. The rest of the car has a blacked out theme, just need to do the lights too. Anyone have blacked out taillights from a film? I was looking up Lamin-X a few minutes ago and it seems pretty legit.

Anyways, before I forget to post pics..

I would clear coat it, if you are gonna leave it black. Or high gloss black it.

I've seen way ricer things on these forums ...
Its not mismatched if I said most of my car is blacked out/black accents.
The OEM grille is unpainted and mismatched too in case you were to haste
to think about it..
Thanks for the input though.

I would paint it. I would also paint the part of the hood behind it so you can't see it through the mesh

If there was something else that was black on the front end the grille wouldn't look so "alone" I guess you could say. I've seen some dudes here make a small front lip using like a 90'-94' Integra lip from the junk yard. If you did that and painted it black that would like cool. Or just paint the trim of the grille red and leave the mesh black. I think that would look best. If you want to leave the trim, definitely put some clear coat on it.

Just my 2 cents but I think the black looks good... it's different. I also agree that if you had something else that was black in the front, it would make it flow a bit better - I guess once you black out your headlights, that should do the trick.

Regardless, looks good

Also, black out the portion of the hood behind the grille, the red peeking out isn't so great

Yeah, definitely do something about that red part you can see through the grille. Spray paint it or put like black tape on it or something. Trust me you're gonna want to do it. I have a Walker front bumper and there is a huge gap in the middle of it and I sprayed my mesh black and you can see right through it and see the silver bumper guard thingy! Looks tacky, but I'm looking to get rid of my Walker bumper soon so yeah.....

I would spray it red, keep the mesh black, and hide whatever the red stuff is behind the mesh. No offense but it looks sort of out of place now. I think with some paint it will look much better!
