yes removing the bumper helps A BUNCH. and yes i have a 3000k hid kit in the fog lights.

Thanks K24red i did mines as well. But, i put HID's ONEX (3K) yellow kit.

how did you paint the lancer/mitsubishi emblems and those taillights look amazing how did you do that to if you dont mind

 

i removed the emblems to paint them,

Tail lights were done using transparent black paint from hobby lobby, i believe the brand is testers or testors.. something like that, and he used automotive quality clear coat, meaning not in a can, the kind they use to paint cars not sure what its called lol.
