I wanted to get rid of the fugly fender gap. I was thinking about just getting the eibach pro-kit springs. Would you reccomend shocks also or is the ride quality nice with stocks? i gotz a 03 oz

the eibach's with stock struts is nice..modest drop... Progress springs are a bit of a lower drop, but I hear ride quality isnt as good. Tein S-Techs are VERY nice...great ride quality, however they don't elliminate the gap as much as the other two.

i have the proggress springs on my 02 oz. i love it the handling is drasticly improved. you will be albe to take corners a hell of a lot fast with more confidence!!! which ever springs you choose though will improve it. anything is better then stock!!

i definately agree, any of the springs mentioned are better than stock! it all depends on how much performance you'd want from them...if you just want your ride to have that "SLAMMED" look, then you'd probably want the PROGRESS, if you want a little better handling w/ a slight drop(1-1 1/2 inch) go for the EIBACHS! if you want an all-out suspension upgrade (thats everything including shocks) get the TIEN super street damper coilover system... they're pricey, but from what everyones telling me, they're the shiznits if ya know wat i mean!! as for me, i went with the GROUND CONTROL coilovers(w/ stock shocks). i wanted to lower my "stanky hoe" asap and i didn't have the patience to save up for the TIENs'. they look pretty good...as a matter of fact, heres some pics

they're great!!! they are a bit bumpy, but thats always the case when lowering your ride...not bad thouh on the bumps! but when i'm on fresh, nicely paved roads (like this one section on I80 between the vallejo an marine world...northern cali area) man it feels awesome...just watchout for that dip on the far left lane!!! taking corners is alot better now especially w/ the rear struts and tie bars!!! i really enjoy driving this car now! MELAZ425, keep us posted on your ride and if you can, ake some pics of that "hoe" of yours...can't wait to see them!! peace!

DEF man, I'll Let you know when I put in the AEM cold air, and lower her. No need in posting a stock OZ lancer up, everyone knows what they look like lol. But these are my plans for the next couple of months. nothing too extreme, just enough to make me feel good about my ride.

AEM cold air intake
Greddy EVO exhaust
Eibach Pro-kit
RRM ralley strut bar
RRM OZ rear sway bar
RRM lancer grill (paint it yellow)
RRM BnM short throw shifter
Evo 7 spoiler
TYC elegente taillights
35% tints up front 20% in the rear
Clear or CF reflectors
and eitheir yellow/black or black/grey torino sparcos w/harnesses

Ill post pics when i finish.

Im still thinkin about rims... I like the stocks, I might just get bad *** tires. peace guys.
