Question Painting Grill

I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on painting my grill is the stock one, i figuring on getting 100% grain sand paper, sanding everything lightly, and a lil more on the chrmoe part, then putting primer, and then two coats of black spary paint. Has anyone done this? And is there anything I should do other then what I have planned out. Thanks

You might wanna try using a couple more coats than 2 and definitly a couple of coats of clear coat. Also before somebody else yells at ya try using a search. There is a couple of other posts about painting the grill.

Here is the thread with step by step. The only thing if you want to paint the emblem another color, don't mask it off, hit it up with a blow dryer for a couple of seconds and take it off to paint.
