I woke up to a big *** package in my room today lol.. well i got my CF evo 7 wing from cerious today. I will be posting pics next week when its finished. heres it right now

How did you fill in the hole in the middle of the trunk that was left when you removed the factory OZ wing?

 

It is just filled with a plug for the time...if you look real close you'll see a plug that I had the shop paint to match the car so it couldn't be seen so much....I guess it works huh

 

hey adamkean ur spoiler looks nice *** hell but i know its not the Evo 8 version, looks like the Evo 7. are the inside of the legs CF too? or is it just painted black. looks CF to me though

 

the inside legs should be CF

p.s. if i were you, id put a clear coat on it, mine kinda faded in spots, then give it a nice wax

Thanks for the props....No you are right it is the EVO VII spoiler but I wanted to differ from everyone else so I painted it EVO VIII style ( I don't think anyone had did that yet ) But that is why it is painted that way. And yes the legs are Carbon Fiber, actually the whole wing is Carbon Fiber. It is from www.ceriousperformance.com and I love it...great ****.

I got the wing from cerious same as adams. I will have pics on tuesday.

oh ya.. wut is the right way to paint carbon fiber? Like whats the right process. I just wanna know so when i ask the shop how he is doing it i wanna know if its the right way.

yea, i knwo ytou have to sand it down, prime and paint, sanding is most important because im sure its all nice and shiny and clear costed, painting carbon fiber is harder, but shouldnt run you more than 250-300 for painting, install, and filling the hole
