Just thought I would share my good news with everyone. My Lancer finished 1st in the Mitsubishi category at a local show here in PA. I even beat out the nice Eclipses! I think the judges liked the fact that I was different and had a Lancer (I was the only one). I had just gotten my carbon fiber hood back from the paint shop, and my system in just in time for the show! Looked awesome, turned a lot of heads. My car isn't the most eye-catching, but it is different being a Lancer in an Eclipse-dominated Mitsubishi Category, which gets me a lot of compliments on the car. This is my car's 3rd win this summer (3rd at CCCN and 2nd at another local show). I have more plans to get a lot more done during the winter so I can really kick *** for the next show season. Uranium, The first time I saw your car (before I had any mods done), I was like, damn that's what my car can look like! They do look similar, but only cuz of the kit and the silver color. You can't see it from the pics, but my cf hood is a mugen style with the vents. Plus, I think you have a few more subtle mods than I do. If all goes as planned, I'll have a new paint job for next year, so we'll see. Keep up the good work man.

 

your hood looks like the VIS evo style that I have. muy bueno! i like it painted. do you have any shots of the car with the hood down and straight at it? I am thinking of painting my hood like yours
