Gen4Racing thanks, I didn't know that. How hard are the clips to get at? When I was looking at taking the lip off to install one from RMR the write up made it sound kind difficult.

VA LANCER RACER click on the post on the first page of this thread and you'll see what came in the kit. The only difference is the grayish brackets in the shot come white. I also received an extra connector in case there were wiring issues (the harness was free). The brackets I received were a little different from those posted, mine were a bit longer so I don't know if they'll fit. Haven't tried fitting the lamps, I'm having a bit of trouble getting at the fake Mitsu mesh in the fascia - I can't figure out how to pop the plastic tabs out of the plastic mud protector thing behind the fog openings.

drummerjun I'm not sure about the bulbs, the units didn't look sealed or anything so I'm guessing you can swap them out. The case is nice and water/shock proof made of metal and glass - my old ones are already jacked being made of cheap *** plastic. Also sorry about not IM'ing about Creative - I'm going to have to PM for now. I'll let everyone know about fitment or modifying the lamps as soon as possible.

just use a screw driver and a thin piece of cloth to pry the pop tabs out .. they go right back in when you're done .. you'll see. thanks for the update.

ozlancerOz thanks for the info - I'm not mechanically inept, well not completely. I just seem to break everything I touch .

Does anyone know a good place or company to buy mesh from for the fog lamp slots. I'm looking for good quality - won't rust. Also has to be sturdy. I was thinking of resuing the plastic stuff, but I'm not sure I'll be able to have the lights sit forward enough.

The install is on hold until midterms are over - should have been this weekend, but with So. Cal. burning, schools have been closed. I'm also waiting on a couple of parts from Mitsu to have a working factory lamp switch.

drummerjun I live a couple of hours away from Fontana, to the south near San Diego. There's a shop down here that will do the electrical hookup. Thanks though, I'll definitely remember when I get my new head lights. Also the part numbers for the replacement bezel (mirror bezel with fog lamp switch cutout) is MR633897 and the p/n for the factory fog lamp switch is MR190951. There is a sticky on the first page of show and shine with part numbers - I posted prices there. We can thank Gen4Racing for the info. For the prices I listed you need to click the banner on this site to San Rafael Mitsubishi, as I don't know what other dealerships charge yet.

I nearly have all the extra parts I've been looking for. I just need to track down some mesh to close off the fog lamp slots. I want to cut them to match the screw patterns and be able to sit the light in a hole in the mesh. I was thinking of spraying it black. The question is where would I pick up some good, sturdy, and non-rusting mesh?
