Accolade Body Kit Feedback
Just as the title states, I'd like everyone who has BOUGHT A KIT FROM A US DISTRIBUTOR to post up pics of your car, and a few words to let us all know how Accoalde has come a long way in making their kits top notch. Im tired of seeing the newbies asking about Accolade and/or where to get a good kit.... well, that stops here. I know several of you out there have these kits with pics already on the site - but I'd like to have each of you post up a couple pics for everyone to see. Comments are welcome, but I'd prefer to keep this ON TOPIC AND POSITIVE.
Everyone has heard the horror stories of Accolade's past, and I'd like for those days to be forgotten. Accoalde produces some of the nicest kits out there for the Lancer, and I'd like this thread to be the official gallery for your rides. Thanks guy, and as soon as my Evo VII kit is installed and painted in a few weeks, I will post those bad boys up there ASAP!

Josh, the Kenstyle kit fit like a glove, except where we had to shave and sculpt to fit the GReddy intercooler in front and OBX exhaust in the back.
The Side Skirts actually have Accolade on them. That's definately gotta go.
Otherwise, the kit is robust and can be installed on a stock OZ with NO FITMENT!
I'll post pix really soon, ok?
Thanks bro!

Wish I could say the same about my experiences.....got a grill that is bowed and doesnt fit on the car. there is no way to mount the grill on the car.
Received broken taillight covers(1 broken) that are 1 layer of fiberglass matt with some resin
Both the covers and the grill seem to be spray painted black.
I bought the ken style kit....the bottom middle piece is a little bowed and the entire kit is fiberglass....good thing i got the kaminari sides that are urethane.
Hopefully something is done to fix my problems....will keep you all posted
If you want pics AIM me at morphling2001.

Hmmm, here's my question
I'm all excited about the Evo VII body kit. My only concern was the gaps in between the hood and the headlights. But upon looking at other kids (Such as the Evo V) the description says "Evo VII Hood and Grill" but there is no gaps. I guess I'm just waiting to see the kit on someone's car that isn't a show or demo car to see if said gaps exist.

i take back my other statement about body-kit. charles put on the kit that i sold him and it fit pretty nicely, but there is room for improvement. If you want perfect fit stay with OEM or i hear that kaminari is great. I havent stuck the hood on yet, but ill see what I can do about that.
i am *very* interrested in the evo5 body kit. im not going to go saying i own an evo, i just love those fog lamps. in fact, as soon as i am no longer a poor starving artist, i will be buying the kit. i've got an art job soon that should fund it nicely, so i'll let you all know. however, if *anyone* has this kit installed, painted or not, i would love to see some pictures and to hear about any fitment issues, although im pretty sure there aren't any.
also quite curious what color yellow these come unpainted in. "All Kits Shipped Unpainted and Comes in Yellow or White."
and, as far as the fog lamps go, how much would it cost to add a switch for them on the existing light switch? like, another piece of plastic to turn for on and off. how hard would an install be? sorry for not searching myself, but no time for now, and might as well ask while posting.
also, anyone think a group buy on kits could be started, and maybe lower the cost on their beautiful kits?

if you get a body kit YOU HAVE TO GET URETHANE or youll be regeting it for the rest of your life. take my word on this because its probably the only important thing ive said.

my quetion is how well does polyfiber plastics hold up in the heat? i ilve where it is over 100 outside on a regular basis. and a freind of mine bought a body kit that was uerethane i think and started to sag and stretch after being exposed to 110+ degree heat all summer.
when will you have a evo 8 kit out for the lancer?
sorry if i jacked your thread
