Bought the Evo shift knob for my OZ Lancer, doesn't fit!!!!! The car dealer I bought it from will take it back, was wondering if anyone knew of shift knobs that fit the 2003 OZ. This particular shift knob did not cover the entire threading, looked really ugly!! Thanks for your help

actually someone posted here how to fix that. i think they put a few washers under the leather boot which raised the height up to meet the bottom of the knob.

 

yeah, that was me. if you search for "evo lancer knob" it should come up. only one problem. after raising it all the way, the boot was a little tight. i just went ahead and ordered a short shifter from www.street-customs.com for $40 shipped. should fit perfect on that, i'll have a full install and pics soon as i get my energy bushings shipping in.
