Lancer ES 2003

Ok I live in new jersey and i was wondering if i could get 18s without there being major rubbing problems please explain what size 18s i need so that i dont have problems or should i just get 17s to be safe? Are 18s reallistically a good choice or will they just cause more problems then they are worth?

its basically up to you, there are tons of wheel size topics on here, search around...some people say they rub, some say only on bumps/turning or backing up, some say they had no problems... it all comes down to what else you have in the car... suspension mods, weight of yourself + people you drive around with etc... 17s are a safe bet since even with drops most people dont ever have a problem with rubbing

if u get 18s ... just be careful and dont hit any curbs or cut corners.. i scrathed my rear rim 1/3 around. i want to get 17s now cause at least the tire would just rub against the curb if i ever hit it again.

That's a good idea.

But anyways, go with 17's. That's what I got and they look good.

Add up a DUI total cost, you could almost buy an EVO!!! Drunk driving is just plain DUMB!!! I would agree with the 17" rims too!!

18's would handle the best and look best, however, they will also ride the hardest. 17's are a bit more pratical for everyday use but can still look sweet on the car
