I like everything in the kit except the spoiler and hood. I've never liked those aluminum spoilers and I like my cars to look symmetrical, so the hood kinda messes up that look I want.

that would be nice..but i agree with whoever said to make the gap in the front a little smaller so it wouldn't lookg like we need a fmic.

oh, btw: exactly what would be coming with the kit? if we could get the fb, ss, rb, cf hood, and maybe a cf spoiler for around $1000-$1200, it would be badass.
who else would be willing to pay that much for quality carbon fiber and fiberglass?

it would probably not include a hood... unless there is a HUGE demand for one... and I could maybe see if they wanted to do a cf spoiler... maybe like the evo 7 but in cf??? I dunno. Might get a bit pricey, and yes, I will ask for the gap in the front to be smaller for the non fmic lancer.

PS common guys, of course it's not gonna come w/ an aluminum spoiler like that! sheesh!

-K

PPS I do have some taste!!!

There probably won't be too much of a demand for a hood to be included. But if there is, I'd actually like to see one made in the Evo 5 or 6 style. Those look a lot more aggressive. I know Vis Racing already has a hood like that, but it's still made so that the grill is attached to the hood, so it wouldn't fit with this C-west style bodykit. Unfortunately, I won't have enough funding for a bodykit like that yet.

Well now that I hit something on the freeway last night at 4 am taking my sis to the airport I'm definately looking for a new body kit. I have a huge gash on my right passenger side side skirt. Not just a cut or skrape but it cut through the entire thing. Oh well I will stop whining about it now. I will probably post pics in off topic in a day or so on it so maybe I will stop crying by then.

can i get it on that too? i'd pay 900 bucks for that and just give me a free kit but anyway, i wouldn't mind if it came with an evo 7 spoiler or a mock evo 8 spoiler.. no cf though since it will come out TOO pricey.. but if its in demand, might as well.. and maybe if its possible, we could get a hood that doesnt have the grill attached to it just like the evo 7 conversion kit.. just so we would be able to have that air scoop in the front grill and so it'll just flat out look better..

Funny this came up, just the other day I was discussing with a friend how cool it would be if C-West made the same kit for Lancers.

Oh yeah and like Phil said, it just wouldn't be the same without the air scoop in the front, I love that!!! Benefits performance and looks sweet too. It has to come with the hood to have it!

i'm really interested in this setup, but i really gotta say somethin about the fb/hood choices you guys are making...

on the evo, the hood is designed to not have a grill... that's why it is reflected in the design of the evo 8 kit. on our car, it is, and i think that any kit made for our car should just leave the grill on the hood. honestly, i'm sure that you could come up with nearly the same look with a grill attached to the hood.

about the cf: i'd be very interested in a cf wing and hood if they became available, even if they wern't a part of the kit. how about a discount for people that buy the kit and the cf parts together?
