Progress Springs?????
i love mine its sad im getting rid of my lancer cuse in autox those things with sway and strut made my car kick massive ***! btw im selling mine used for about 7k for $100 +shipping if your interested :-p (sorry for the hijack
i heard the 'noises' complaints but progress would also send u sleeves to fix it, didnt hear about them wearing out etc. but i dont think i saw/remember complaints about them driving wise.
thanks all, much appreciated. So I guess my last thought is that if i did decide on eibach's over progress, it only says they give like a 1" drop which i'm not sure if its gonna get rid of enough gap, any thoughts on how it'll look??
they do make a noise... but with some elbow grease the shop that installed my springs greatly reduced the noise... i tell people when they are in my car and the music isnt on to listen for the clanging and most of them never hear it. it just takes some adjustment and you can all but eliminate the noises even without the sleeves... another thing is that the guys at the shop were confused as to why the springs never came with sleeves in the first place, since i guess most aftermarket springs do.
all in all i like them alot, i like the way they handle, i like the way it makes the car look... ride is bumpy, but i knew that would happen, and it doesnt bother me anyways.

But seriously, if you're gonna be **** about the noise, stick with the Eibach, and if you still want less fender gap, go up a tire size (if you're on 17s, look into a 215/45/17, which should fit on proper offset rims). Otherwise, the Progress springs fill in the gap much nicer (unless you have a 200 pound amp) and handle better.

yay, another girl?
well i was going to go with progress for the price, but then i ended up with eibachs. i love the eibachs but i want to switch them because they just dont drop enough :/ no one notices my car is even dropped. the eibachs are good, you hear a little clinking noise once in a while, but its not BAD. the drop gets rid of the wheel gap, but i want to go with teins now, just because its a little lower. i just dont have the time to switch springs though. i've seen progresses' in person, they give a nice drop, but i don't know about the ride...i went with eibachs because they have a good reputation and their products are high quality. hope that helps :]
teins or eibachs!!
