RMR Lip

Hey everyone I have searched on this site for a long time now to see someones car with the RMR Lip type 1. I know that there is one member with a black lancer who has his lip kit painted silver, but the pics don't do the lip justice and it is hard to notice how the lines of the lip match up with the car in the two tone paint. It is also hard to see how the lip would look on our cars on the RMR site which has a very blurry picture that only shows the front end. Does anyone on this forum have the RMR Lip Type 1? I would really love to see some pics. I have seen many Lancers with the Type 2 Lip, but I am not too sure I like it very much. I was also hoping that possibly if anyone else is interested maybe we can get a group buy going. Let me know and I will see what I can do, thanks a lot!

ive seen 1 car with it before. it looks ok, but its not as agressive. its like the difference between the kaminari fascia vs ken style fascia, but it doesnt look too bad, if you have an oz its like basically the same lip except some little differences.

I'll be in too. You do know that you have to cut off the bottom center piece in order to fit that lip?

BTW, way cooler than the type II!

Really I didn't know that you had to cut the bottom lip? thanks for the information, but I will ask RMR to clarify that. I will e-mail them now and let you guys know what they say (I will probably get an answer in the next couple of days). Yes it is sort of like the kaminari vs. ken style, but i am not a fan of body kits. I own an ES Lancer and I just purchased an OZ kit I am having installed on my TG Lancer soon, and I just wanted to flare it up a bit and get a lip. I have liked this Lip for a really long time now, but now that I see I am not the only one I will try to get a group buy going.

I have just finished e-mailing RMR and I will post as soon as I get results. I told them that we already have three prospective buyers and I asked for prices of both painted and unpainted Lips. I would prefer buying a painted Lip but we will see what the demand is for. For anyone reading this post this is for the RMR Lip Type ONE! Thanks.....

Haha, all of sudden theres interest in the RMR Type 1 kit.
well its a great choice if you ask me. Check out my registry. Once it gets a lil nicer outside and i wash my car, ill get some nicer pics.
Also, You can do it yourself but its not easy. If you are really scared to cut into your bumper, then you might as well pay for someone to do it.

All of a sudden?!!! I've wanted that so bad for the last two years! Too bad I'm a poor broke bastard! I should just give up and become a hobo, or maybe just push a shopping cart around town.

I dunno, I guess that's why I'll have a professional do it. I'll just have them permanently fix it to the stock bumper while they're at it.
