by looking at that picture..putting kenstyle side skirts with my rmr lip would look ridiculous because the kenstyle side skirts would be too low. :/ daMMIT!

 

yup, i tried chopping that and it just didn't work. seem all aftermarket sideskirts are too low. just had an idea: do the new ralliart side skirts look any better?

 

i was just at the dealership yesterday..i dont think they're any different. but i was looking at the evo's, a black and white one..i swear the black one had different side skirts.

 

well stumpy221 I can't wait to see the pics of your car and those chops are really nice too. I guess I never realized just how much this Lip really did make our bumpers have a "bigger mouth". They look nice and I am still convinced that this would look great on our lancers.
So where were all you other guys before? I have posted a group buy on this a while back and I only got one responce lol. I thought nobody liked it! But would you guys who have purchased this lip post how much you bought it for, (painted or unpainted) and how much it cost you to install? Thanks a lot. I have been trying to figure out how much it is going to cost me to get this OZ kit I just bought sanded down and painted TG, and then installed, but I am going to get the RMR lip instead of installing the OZ one I have so I will sell it in the future.
Hopefully I will hear from RMR today and I will post later......

 

RMR supplies directions on where to cut. If you cut too little it wil not fit perfectly, so just keep trimming away until you think its flush. Also DO NOT cut too much, The cut off center will be visible if you do.

I just received my e-mail from RMR. I was very dissappointed with their offer and I wrote them back. They quoted me at from 5 - 10 buyers:
Painted $350
Unpainted $200
However, I emailed RMR last week and they quoted me at $365 for a painted and shipped RMR Lip, so I emailed him back and told him he has to do much better than that to get a group buy started. Let me know what you guys think, but I believe it should be down somewhere near $315 shipped and painted? With 10 people they will make $3150 instead of $3650. I don't think he understood too well that we obviously want it at a much lower price but I will try to straighten things out.....

 

now we can start our own "trend" with thunder gray lancers having rmr lips.. silver lancers already have the kaminari kits ;x

 

lol that'd be cool Jennz03, I just received my other e-mail back from RMR they are obviously willing to do business because he lowered the price for the painted ones to $330. What do you guys feel we should pay for these Lips? What should my counter offer be? Would you guys prefer $350 shipped, or .....? Or do you think that I should bargain on the unpainted ones and then we can just get it painted ourselves? Perhaps $200 shipped for the painted ones? Let me know.

 

Can somebody please post pics of what their RMR Lip Type 1 looks like? I would really love to see it on a car, not a photochop or the pics on RMR. Thanks a lot.....

 

Hey. I finally got my car back. My body shop put the lip on for me. Yes they did have to cut the bumper a little but you can't even see it. Sorry my car is a little dirty. It has been raining

thanks a lot for those pics, do you think its possible ot take an eyelevel one please? sorry to bother you its just that all I have seen are angled shots and always on a dark car so its hard to see the lines of the lip. By the way nice hood, I am gettin the CF vented one in a couple of months. just get some CF reflectors, paint ur headlights, and change ur grill and you will have one sick front side. thanks a lot though we all appreciate it.
