i was thinking earlier that this could be a good way to finish the looks of our tails w/o the altezza appeal... does anyone know where you could get a red tint about this shade? here's my car w/ the original tails and a quick photoshop. wuddyah think?

the last one's in the UK... so you might not want to order from there. but it gives you an idea of what to look for.

no... i actually shaved my trunk by hand, haha. it came out a lot better than i thought it would

it'll prolly be close to impossible to get the same shade, but even a little different would probably look better (i hope )

check out aijuq.. i think thats the guy who did custom tails somewhat like that, but he left the reverse lights clear. and there's some other dude with a blue es that did the whole tails just like the way you want it. im pretty sure people around here know who im talkin about.. and if you're looking for an exact paint match, it'll be pretty tough. i suggest you do vinyl instead..

 

too bad there's not just some way to redo the entire tail.. that'd make it easier to get the same color all over. i think i'm going for the looks of the evo 7 tails, cept not as good cause they're still lancer tails, haha.

it would be nice if the evo projector headlights and the tails fit our car...... but, they don't =(

 

I'm thinking the Depo chrome altezza's with a red tint would look the closest to the Evo tails. That's what I'm thinking about doing anyway.

 

I just smoked mine completely black tonight they are drying as we speak.. Looks sexy I might recomend that.. Can smoke a light grey or like me black.. Im in love with it but that red would look tight as **** too!
