question

How'd you get your dash off?
another thing you sed you drilled in the holes, wouldn't that create gaps that wouldrestrict the air flow if you turned your AC on? Jus a question, if you sealed off the holes howed you do it?

ya i drilled holes in the vents them selves, and in the holes are the LED's holding them in a re LED holders, finally attached to them is some "hot" glue, to keep it in place.

there is absoultly no restrictions in any kind of air flow

That looks sweet...definately something I could try when I have the time

One question...what is your electricity source and wiring order/scheme? Is it all in the same circuit?

EDIT: guess that's two questions...haha.

wow this thread came from the dead, lol

well i hade all the red lights changed to white, you can see a pic in my profile, of course its not finished yet.

all the led's are hooked pretty much to the same wire, and that wire is hooked to the +12v in the steering console. and the + is switched too so i can turn it on and off when i want.

gets lots of trucks honking and flashing there lights in awe at night, lol

Ressurection time. Does the resistor go on every LED or the beginning of the chain? Keep in mind I know nothing about LED's or electricity. Just trying to form a knowledge base reading here and off site.

well you really have two options. you can either buy leds that will already work with 12vols (like the varad ones, but $$$) or wire a resistor to each one. personally i did the resistor on each one, that it was a big pain. thats kinda why i havetn done the "how too". but i want to replace all my leds with varad ones that are strait 12volts maybe i'll take some pics and post it. =)

ya, pics are good!!! you say these varad ones cost $$$, but how much? if the last ones were $1.50 each + resistor, what do these cost?

hey, sell me your old ones if you get a new setup, ya?!?!
