My upgrade path...
OK, this is the best place I could think of to put this. My car is mostly stock with only a strut bar, ground kit and some various dress-up parts. This is my plan for the next year or two. What does everyone think?
or
0. RRM slotted rotors and Axxis pads coming in a week with my new Toyo tires
1. RRM Magnacore wires - to go with Iridium plugs I just got
2. Short Ram Intake or Cold air
3. Exhaust - catback, testpipe, downpipe
4. Springs - either the Skunk2 add-on coilovers or Tein springs
5. RRM Sway bar and perches
6. B&M short shifter
7. RRM clutch (if not sooner, since I'm learning on this car)
==============================================
And then, accessories:
RRM red silicone hose kit (get the engine bay to match)
PIAA wiper blades from TireRack
RRM carbon fiber tail lights
RRM EVO Style Front Grill
EDIT - oh yeah, and eventually I'd like to get a system put in, but I gotta have performance and looks before I bother with sound.
Also, no I'm not changing my rims, so don't even try. I like OZ.

Sounds like a good idea. You've done your research and seems to me(someone who's broke and can't mod) that you've already decided what you want.
By the way, you'd be really kick *** if you were to make a "How To ___" for all of those installs if you're going to do them yourself.
Otherwise

Well, for everything I DIY, I'll give the How to a shot. I'm thinking that the only things I don't want to attempt are the springs and and clutch, just because I fear screwing up things in important areas like that. If I put on the sway bar and it falls off, no biggie. If the clutch is installed wrong, big problems. And I definitely understand the $ shortage. That's why this will all happen over time. I figure if I only spend $100 a month or so, I won't bankrupt myself.
