i have two 12's and two 500w (rms) amps in my car...no blown fuses...my interior lights dim once in awhile...whit my system turned all the way ...but never the head lights...
That's a different issue. The system is drawing power DIRECTLY off the battery (most systems do). The lights, however, go through the fusebox. Imagine the alternator gave off some sort of power surge which passes on to the battery and goes to the fusebox. The 10amp fuses will prolly short out easier than the 20amp fuses. U went from 1 bulb for hi/lo to 2 different bulbs... doubled the load on the wire/fuse. Which is why it is recommended to upgrade the fuses to 20's.
you just simply pull out the 10amp fuses and just replace them with the 20's? is it as easy as that? coz i already have the 20amp fuses and it looks like you just pull the old ones out and put these new ones back in
