Is SharkRacing.com reliable? (buying a spoiler)

I'm about to buy one of the Evo VII spoilers from SharkRacing.com, but I have never done business with them before.

I've heard at least one person say it took months for them to get their bodykit from Shark Racing. Are they reliable? How about Fast?

If you've done business with them before please help me and respond. It would be greatly appreciated.

If the answer is no --> they are not reliable, and I should take my business elsewhere, where can I get the EVO VII spoiler at?

From what I read those delays were because they had to order the kits from Accolade and THEN deliver them.

The Evo VII spoilers are also being sold by one of the LF Vendors (Calvinwch I believe) in the vendor's forum.

I can't say I know much about either, but hopefully that helps.

I ordered a body kit from Shark Racing in March and still hadn't recieved it in the beginning of June, so I cancelled it. Its now the end of June and I have yet to recieve my refund of $1500. If I were you, I would not buy anything from Shark Racing. Not only are their products overpriced ($400 for coilovers, $1500 for a FIBERGLASS bodykit!), they are very unreliable and shady. You'd probably have better luck buying from Calvinwch, he seems like a pretty reputable dealer.

I have been dealing with sharkracing for over two years now since I owned a tiburon before I bought the lancer. They have never disappointed me yet and about the body kit I also ordered the Xenon kit back in March but SR told me right away that the kits would not reach Cali till June 21 which they did and the kit is now on its way to me. They are very reliable and straight forward with you some people just dont have any patients. I would go ahead and order the wing from them.

Shipping time on that kit always stayed the same. Third week of June arrival here in the States.

As stated before: your money has been refunded. It just takes time to get to your credit card.

Im actually happy you posted this because it completely throws your credibility in the toilet. First of all, please show me another place online that has Lancer Ground Control Coilovers for under Shark's price. Also, How many places do you know can import a Front Bumper, Headlight Conversion Kit, Hood, Fender replacement pair, Side Skirts, Rear Lip, and Spoiler for 1500 INCLUDING shipping?

Calvinwch? Now THATS shady. He cant get the zenon kits from accolade because they wont send to him, thus he uses a malaysian company to get the kits so that he can sell them here in the states even though Accolade has not authorized this...

SR Ground Control Coil-Over $389 NOPI has them for $381, I don’t see anything shady at all about calvinwch (his lancer form name) or Company Racing Street. The only thing about Racing Street is the hold on the body kits due to US. Customs. Personally I don’t care where he got the kit as long as I get it and it looks good. With 1500 shipping included in the price cant go wrong. http://www.eautoperformance.com/ check out his site. If he was to offer more parts for are lancer I would gladly buy some. I give him as much respect I give to RRM or RMR for that matter all these company’s have different products, and different prices. Don’t go bashing a Company you have not done any business with. Give them a fare shot maybe some of the new guys read this and are swayed one way or the other due to someone’s unjust biased opinion.

This is the only one you could find thats cheaper? A whopping 6 dollars cheaper? (with shipping) I refuted what the other guy said when he said that they are "overpriced." I still wouldnt call ONE place being SIX dollars cheaper grounds for saying that SR is overpriced.

I am not bashing a company that i have not had dealings with. I am just stating a fact. Ask Accolade. He asked them if he could sell the Zenon kit in the States. They said they didnt want him doing that. So he goes and uses someone else to smuggle the kit in..

i am thinking of getting the full sharkracing gt lancer kit from you and was wondering what your guarnatee is that it will come in by the end of july as your site states. i dont want to put out 1300 and wait 2+ months to get it or not get it at all. i really want the kit but dont want to go through any hassle. how many kits are you receiving in the frist shipment and how many have been ordred so far?

A little time...

Then, wouldn't it be a good idea then to wait a month or two until they say they have the kits in stock and just save up the money, or go and buy some other part you want in the meantime? If the time comes and they say they still don't have them, then look elsewhere.

yeah but they said that the price would be higher if you don't pre-order the kit before july 13th. i dont know what the price would be after that date, but he said it would be higher. just trying to save a few bucks but don't want to get ripped off. if i lived in cali where most of the shops were then i would prob go wait, but i live in denver where there are barely any decent shops that carry lancer parts. plus they charge alot for what they can get. $269 for eibacks before tax is an example of the rediculous price the want.

Yes, we also have a retail store in Oceanside. 760-721-1177

Well, there are too many variables to guarantee shipping times. Once we have them in stock, they will be guaranteed. However, until then, any number of things could happen: stuck in customs, boat delayed, etc. There will be a guarantee that you will get the kit though, and if it is delayed, you will be compensated.

Wow. That is insane. SR's prices for Lancer Eibach Springs is 210 including shipping to your door.
