What would look better?

So yesterday here in jersey we got like a foot or so of snow, of course i had to go "test" my new snow tired haha. Well as i was getting out of the car and about to go in the house i noticed something wasnt right... my hideaway license plate mount had completely snapped and my plate was barely holding on...

so the question is, do you guys think it would look better if i got another hideaway, or if i should go for this:

please give me your opinions!

I went with the oem evo plate bracket... fits good and I think it was less money than that at the dealership

I was real close to purchasing the hideaway front plate, since here in Texas they will pull you over for no front LP if they feel like it,but thought of vandalism and in general how the hideaway is just a piece of plastic motorized.

I bought the Evo (relocate) LP bracket and it fit's almost PERFECT on my 2010 Lancer. There's about a quarter of an inch,IF THAT,that slightly doesn't touch the front bumper but it's not anything to be mad about cause it can't be seen and only YOU,the owner, will know it's there.

true, here in houston i never really get pulled over. i got pulled over once for no front plate (got a warning) and i removed mine the 2nd day i had my car. some people just want to save the headache, because if you get a ticket for it, you can go to court and show the judge a picture of your car with a front plate, and the ticket gets dismissed.

i personally will never have a front plate.

yeah the oem evo relocate plate mount should be here monday it says. i would always drive with my plate hidden and have never gotten bothered for it. i actually got a compliment on it from my neighbor, who's a cop. i'll definitely get some pictures of it on here when it comes in.

but is there anyway to mount it without drilling....? i've seen some different types of velcro i was thinking of trying. but im not sure if it would hurt the paint in the future, also if it would hold up in high speeds...

dont use welcro/... if the oem evo lp brack is like the ones for the 8/9, just line it up on the bumper, mark it with a sharpie where the holes would go, and drilll baby drill lol.... just get some 8-10mm panhead bolts, washers and nuts ,, and for the old holes in bumper you can patch them up easy, not that hard to do... using bolts will perm secure it to the bumper... i was thinkin about velcro at one time for my lancer and said no way, ill just get some bolts, washers and nutz.. alot easier that way...

dont be scared to drill into ur bumper
