I was wondering where you guys are putting away your headunit hideway's when installing in-dash LCD's or navigation units. We really dont have alot of space and I want everything very nice and clean. I had amp's under my seats in my last EVO and will probably do the same on this one... still dosent answer where I can place the hideway brain!

i hid the brain, 5.1 surround decoder under the driver seat. CLarion subwoofer under passenger seat

 

sucks cause I have two amps one for my speakers, and one for the sub

 

A sub under the passenger seat? Is there THAT much room under there?

 

Sure is... mind you, I didnt have HUGE amps...

 

what size sub?

 

The brain for mine is pretty small...so I just stuck it in the glove box and ran the wires through it.

 

i hid the brain under where the carpet where the passenger puts their feet. it's been there for a year and it's fine. the unit is a avic-n1
