I have a OZ red lancer and am getting my windows tinted, but i do not know what percent to get. I have seen 30% and that wasnt dark enough for me. My other friend has 5% which looks awesome, but totally kills your vision especially at night. What percent is a good then so that it is dark enough to look great but not dark enough to really obstruct vision? Also i live in FL and i dont remember what the legal tint is for front windows, and body know?

 

thought 35% was legal any darker is illegal?

 

but why would u want to hide ur self from everyone? i prefer ppl to see whos drivin the car... then they puke and wreck and kill them self... maybe i should tint my windows...

 

I had 5% on my front 2 windows, 2.5% on my rear 2 and 1.25% on my rear winshield... it looked awesome, but I got a ticket for my front 2 windows so i had to take the tint off of those, but my rear 3 windows are still dark as hell.

 

i do like how ppl walk up to my car a lot and look at the custom leather interior, but i think i want the tint bc the exterior's look is more important to me. so what percent guys?

 

15% is good for your case. My rear 3 windows are 15% and it looks great and doesn't obstruct vision much. I REALLY wish I got my front windows 15% too, but I wanted to be legal at the time...went with 35.

 

I've got 15% all around and it's sweet during the day and a tab bit dark at night.

 

My personal opinion, 35% is the best way to go with any car.

 

I'm from FL too and I just got 5%, the cops here don't care but I'm not sure about where you're from. I'll put it this way, you will rarely get pulled over for JUST tint, usually they get you for speeding and then they say, "BTW son, that tint's illegal, here's a razor blade..."

Yeah that happened to 2 of my friends back home.

Hey well I live in FL. and I have 20% all around and never have I had a problem. Its perfect at night and still decently dark. I think its a good choice. Well good luck with that.

 

I had 15% on my last car and you know what I keep telling myself? "shoulda gotten darker damnit!"
