yeah urbanknight has 16's cuz hes one of those autocrosser guys, so the smaller wheels help him out in that area.

16" from a 14" stock ES wheel will make a huge difference... but if you are moving from the OZ 15" to only a 16"... I wouldnt bother wasting the cash.

well, you could go to a 17" for cheap. check out www.wheelmax.com or www.wheelguyz.com for decent deals on 17" wheels and tires. they may not be the most awesome quality, but for the price, you cant go wrong

Well, my main reason for not wanting to go 17s is that I don't want any rubbing in the back when i have 3 people in that back, and I tend to usually have people there. I'm like a LancerTaxi. Hah. Do you kno if I'll get rubbin if i have 3 ppl in the back with 17s? I think i will.. but i dun know.

Hey I got your comment on my Lancer. Here are some pics with the 16s before lowering. In my opinion, that's too much fender gap (more than stock because the tires are smaller). If you're not going to lower it, you will definitaly not have any rubbing with 17s and 205/40/17, 215/40/17 or even 205/45/17 tires. The ride will be a little more rough, but most people don't notice. If you still want to get 16s, get 215/45/16 or 205/50/16 tires to. But like they said, I put 16s on with the 45 profile for autocrossing, smaller drive ratio and less weight.

I look at it this way, also. The Lancer ES has smaller tires than the OZ but the same size fenders and wheel wells, so you can go up to a size as large as the OZs are running and still not rub, you will just have your speedo and odometer off by a little.
