If yours is like mine, it's literally stamped into the metal. You'd have to hammer it out or else find an aftermarket grille that doesn't have it.

The area around it is bezeled, but you could theoretically fill it with something like Bondo or plastic gap filler if you just sanded the area and repainted the surround on the grille.

BTW, it's plastic. Don't try to hammer it out or you'll be buying a new grille.

There must be several different versions of the stock grille, as I've seen other references to removing the emblem from the stock grille. However, I just walked out to the garage to verify this -- mine is "stamped" into the grille, and it appears to be chromed plastic, not metal. Hmm...

I'm 99% certain it's the same. It's a diamond star piece of plastic attached with adhesive inside a diamond star shaped bezel. If you have a thin knife or paint scraper I guarantee you can get it off.

I used a screwdriver back when I painted the whole thing...be careful though because the logo is fragile in the middle and can break in half. I have a ralliart grill now.
