Got Egged, how bad is it for the paint?

Ok, so last night i get out to put gas in my car and i see someone F'in egged my ride, so i was pissed, but i managed to get most of it off...although this mornin after thorourghly washin i notice that there are little knicks in the paint from the impact of it...and also a whole lot of light scracthes. But I am wondering if it will affect the paint any other way. it's all gone now. needless to say i am pretty well pissed. but any info on this?

Just make sure you wash it all off and wax that spot just for the hell of it. I'm sure it won't cause any long-term damage.

Eggs really mess with the paint, typically eating it off of the car. It will depend on how quickly you got it off. I was egged also and it really screwed mine up badly. Hopefully you caught yours in time.

someone egged my s-10 when i had it and it left circular cracks in the paint and it was only on there for an hour, so yea definatly wash it and wax it and find out who it was and get revenge

DEFINATELY wash and wax the car. couple of months ago, i got hit with an orange coming off of the express way (i know its weird...... who the hell throws oranges?). anyway, i didnt think to much of it since it was late at night and cold. next morning i go to wash it and the orange burned into my paint . damn i was sooooo pissed. i had my buddy use a couple of polishing compounds. after trying about 3 times it FINALLY came out. our paint is too sensitive.
