alright guys, here's the deal. i'm looking to buy a kit for the lancer soon. i've pretty much settled on the ken style kit, but i don't want the stubby rear bumper. i know it looks better with it, but i just can't afford to lose safety in a daily driver. so anyway, here's the question.

what is a good looking rear bumper (not a skirt or lip) that doesn't require cutting the rear reinforcements? i've tried to find one but am stuck.

 

I could be wrong, but I thought the kenstyle comes with rear skirts, not a bumper. With that, you wouldn't have to cut anything out.

 

if it is a skirt, is it for our bumper or the cedia's smaller bumper?

if you're buying it from accolade, i believe its a full bumper. i thought it was a lip attached but i guess its all one piece.

 

The Ken style comes with the short bumper. I think all the aftermarket bumbers are short.

 

if you are buying a "true" Kenstyle kit like mine, not some knock off from Accolade. Then the rear lip on the kit will not fit and it will have to be custom fitted to your bumper. Everything else fits up perfect except the rear lip.

 

i thought the apex 2 rear bumper was only short (and true kenstyle rear)? maybe i'm wrong
