Tein Basic vs Tokico (with lowering springs)

Hey all, got a question about something i've been thinking about for some time now. I've put the intake and exhaust on and basically for me all i wanna do now is drop the car but in a way that won't require me to buy new shocks anytime soon or go through tires any faster than normal ride height does. So heres the deal, Tein Basics go for around $850 and that includes all I would need. The tokicos are gonna run roughly $400 but they would still require some lowering springs which would bring the total aroung $550. So theres a difference of $300 dollars there and I just need to know what is gonna be the best bet as far as a dependable setup that will give me the lowered stance that i'm looking for without sacrificing too much in ride quality . Any advice as always, much appreciated, thanks.

I might be wrong, but in my experience there is no way to lower the car without sacrificing the ride comfort (it will however handle better ). Also, unless the Tein Basics come with some kind of camber adjusting device, you will probably experience excessive wear due to the negative camber induced by dropping the car. It's hard to align some cars if you drop them too much....... If it were me, I'd get some kind of coil-over arrangement with whatever springs they suggest for the kind of driving involved. That'll give you some flexibility to adjust the drop, etc. Don't forget that many aftermarket springs tend to sag with time...... If that happens, you're up the creek if you don't have a way to adjust the ride height to compensate.....

Good luck
