It is the WRC (World Rally Championship) Lancer. Not an evo at all. But faster than an evo.

ya i pretty sure its based off the regular lancer, just w/major major upgrades and total rebuilds, if u look at other pics of the car u can see lots of similarities w/ours, ie. tailights, hood-bumper , etc, those are just cosemetic but it is based off the lancer not evo

Its the WRC Lancer. There are countless threads about the car. This year the WRC team decided to begin with the non-Evo model, so they could start from scratch.

 

thats the 2004 lancer evo 8 WRC. sur its a lancer, but the engine is an evo check it out.

 

by the time i go to philippines, im gonna cutomize my lancer to that body work. got a lot of friends in Cebu who could copy it ral good, cant even tell its fake.

 

Yeah it's basically only the cosmetics that are based off of the Lancer. When you're talking about the performance parts, then it's definitely evo.
