Angry Black Housing Install question?

Okay Guys,
I finally got my hands on a pair of Black Housing Headlights....but I have a problem.
I purchased all the approriate bulbs for these lights but the H1 Bulb is giving me a problem.
1st of all, it doesnt fit the white socket assigned to it...am I doing something wrong? When I went to my local performance shop I asked for an H1 socket he looked at me like I had 2 heads
I tried to find one on the autozone, pep boys, and napa websites. Even tried the socket manufacturer website...no luck. All the auto part websites want the make and model of the car before doing a product search which doesnr help because the US spec Lancer doesnt use the H1 Bulb.
Does any one know where I can get my hands on a H1 Bulb SOCKET?
For those of you who have installed the light already....does the H1 bulb go on the white socket that comes with the lights or do I have to mod this piece.
Please HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
Thanks in advance guys,
C'Lancer

there are no h1 sockets readily available that u can purchase at pep boys or autozone or any other shop for that matter. you could either go to acura and get the h1 box and wiring from an rsx for about 15 bucks or hardwire the wires you spliced to the legs of the h1 bulb. do u know what i mean when i say legs of the bulb? if not, as you can see in joe's second picture, the end of the h1 adapter almost looks as if its the end of an electrical plug. now u see the hole on each end of the plugs? all u gotta do is wrap the necessary wires around each of those holes. thats what almost everyone else did, if not what all of us did.

it should.. but how doesnt it fit? when zlancer was installing mine, he kinda had to force the h1 bulb in a few times.. try putting some force into it, but not so much. coz thats the first time i've ever heard anyone mention they couldnt get the h1 bulb into the white adapter.

Both the plug and the H1 Bulb are identical to the pics you posted on your thread at the other site.
