DEPO Chrome tails VS Ebay "JDM" Black tails
I got some of the black "JDM" tails from X3 Racing and slapped one on the car to compare with the DEPO chrome ones I already had which I am less than satisfied with. Check out the pic below.

You asked for it so you got it.
Problemo numeral uno: They lights are not keyed properly for our wiring harness. The backup light and turn signal hole are not keyed right although you can get the backup light to "lock" in just not securely. The brake light hole is just plain triangular, no key.
Soultion: A dremel and self sealing tape. I put a bur bit on it and took off what I needed to to get the plugs to seat. Since they really arent too secure I wrapped them in self sealing tape around the housing and since you stretch it to put it on it sucks right over the plug on the harness and thus securing it.
I am also in the process of waterproofing them with that gray putty electricians uses to seal conduit and other holes they make so it is airtight. It is going on rather well. One done one to go. The **** never dries out so it should be a permanent fix.
Should I leave negative feedback for these guys because it didnt fit? Or should I call them and tell em and not leave feedback?

Well, if you're in a really good mood, notify them that the lights suck and don't fit. Being a cynic, I think that they'll just keep on selling them. I'd say leave negative feedback (on the last day possible so they can't do the same to you) that says "bought Lancer taillights, but they don't fit the Lancer" so people know.

No they DO FIT. They look perfect from the outside. The lights that go in the back do not fit the holes.
Mostly what Im getting at is they are a cheap alternative but require minor modification to get your bulbs in there. They are certainly well made aside from the holes for the bulbs. No big gaps or rough lens edges (ala the depo's I already have).
Matrixracing.com sells them for 180 dollars! Ebay is 119 shipped. Good deal.
EDIT: BTW I left positive feedback but stated the problem in the comments for the benefit of the rest of Lancer-land.
