Question new hood

I have been looking at putting a new hood on my car. The only thing that I have been wondering about is the fact that there is a vent on the hood about where the fuse box is. I was wondering if anybody out there has this hood and if they are having any problems with the water?

Thanks

The vent is actually closer to the spring bolts.
1 year w/CF hood so far and no problems.

What's actually cool, is that after running your engine for some time, when you come to a stop you will notice heat waves coming out of those vents over the struts. So it's functional.

Sup Bitnode,
Let me ask you, ever think of painting that CF hood?

My freind has one and the vent over the strut isn't that bad. Butt the 2 vents in the front are like funnels that pour rain and washes all over the header. Its really not bad, everything gets wet with a stock hood too. Look at an EVO, it has vents stock.
