Add new kenwood front speakers yesterday took me a little but but the hardest part was putting the door cover ! They a lot better , but I want to get the most out of the speakers so I'm upgrading my stereo.
The only thing next I have to do is buy rear speakers. To give me a little more bass lplus the left rear speaker is out. Then I'm buying an amp for my 12inch sub .

Granted I have different bulb size than u since I change my headlights, I got the brand xentec off ebay. They have been real good. But since u still have stock lights I wouldn't recommend getting hids because u will b blinding everyone coming at you because the reflective surface for the bulb is pretty well the whole thing and the bulb rays will be every where. U can get better halogen bulbs tho. Which I have seen the sylvania ultra bright bulbs are really good, huge difference compared to the normal halogens, but its up to u what u wanna do, because I won't be driving at u and getting blinded.

Yeah I would hate to blind people , it could lead to an accident. I think I'm gonna save up for the depo headlights, then get th hid kit. I was thinking about doing angel eyes too.

I haven't seen any headlights with the angel eyes unless you wanna diy it. But yeah the depo projector ones would be better to do the hids with. And I love them compared to stock

Today , I changed the color of my engine cover. It took me about 4 hours .
(When I put it all back together I put the spark plug wires in wrong and when I turned on the car it have me quite the scare.)
But it's all good and working now!
It is red with gold bolts .

So I made my LedGlow auto illuminate when ever I open any of the doors . I like it a lot actually , it gives it purpose because I don't use it much , I also painted the trim beneath your feet .

I need to find door sills for both front and back because the ones I have are dirty and scratched . I would paint them but even with a really good clear coat they sills would take so much wear and tear it wouldn't last long. So I'm searching online through oem parts.

Plan on painting the seatbelt cover sills tomorrow (black)

Today I painted the the insert under the steering wheel. (Black)
And when I was painting I found this wire that has a button at the end of it . I followed the wire and it leads to my hornet security system. I didn't push the button becuase I don't know what it does so I'm trying to figure it out . But anyway here's some pictures.

Ill hit on a few things cause it didn't seem like you got your answer. As far as stuck bolts go. Let PB Blaster sit on them for a day or so. Use the correct size socket and then something to get you plenty of leverage. If you have air tools, use an air gun. Air gun is the best bet for stuck bolts.

For HID lights. I know all the kool kids have/want them but unless you have HID projectors, which are not offered for the Lancer, I would stay away. Halogen projectors are not HID projectors, don't confuse them. HID bulbs in a non projector style headlight emits way too much glare as has been mentioned above. Also, halogen projectors suck. Might get a few years out of them tops, then the projector will go to ****. I would recommend DIY painting your housings black and slapping silverstar ultras in them. Great setup that looks good. I ran it.

Thanks I'll get some pb blaster this week .
So don't go with the Depo headlights , besides putting hids inside I was thinking about making DIY angel eyes . Or should I not do that .
Becuase I'm all for painting my headlights etc , cuase it's cheaper .

[QUOTE="Thahomeboyb;11216697"]Question for all my brothers who have an 02 and 03 lancer! What height does the lancer come stock ?
I'm kinda thinking that the previous owner may have lowered the car I'm not sure. My 2002 lancer already sits lower than my friends rsx at his stock height .
I can fit my shoe under the front fender but not the back .
Btw I have springs with a 1.5 drop sitting in my garage but if it's already lowered I'll just sell them backk .

Made progress on changing the spring today I got 1 out of 6 top strut bolts off lol . I used liquid wrench but the rest don't seem to want to come off so I was thinking about , getting a dremel and sawing all of the top strut bolts off then buying new ones from advanced auto .
