The slow one
Today I decided to do the cup holder LED mod . I chose the color white becuase my blue LEDs did not work . It took about 3 hours ! Trying to wire it up and add the resistors took the longest other than that It was easy for me . I have tons of stuff and resistors left over so if anyone's interested in doing the mod PM .
I will take some pics later tonight so you can see the full effect of the LEDS

Yesterday I sent my car to the shop do deal with the no brakes issue . We agreed on 100 but they tried to jack me up on the price of the new calipers to 109$ each which was rediculous . So I called a two truck to bring it home I'll do it myself !
I'm looking to paint the car becuase it's in the need for a new paint job !
The colors I am thinking are :
Red with white or black rims
Black with black rims
White with black rims.
Can anyone give me a suggestion becuase it needs to be changed ASAP .
And I was thinking about going with rust oleum instead of plasti dip .

Okay big news for today . I spent all my graduation money on car parts haha !
I ordered :
euro black headlights 188.00
Altezza black aftermarket Tailights 100.00
Couple cans of duplicolor black (for paint job)
Gold engine oil cap for evo 8 15.00
Also decided not to go with a body kit , becuase the shipping price is crazy and I will paint the car black (glossy)

Okay another update . Yes the car will be black but I'm vynl wrapping the fenders to make it look like I have carbon fiber fenders haha . I think it will look very nice tho (just ordered the wrap)
So I made my LedGlow auto illuminate when ever I open any of the doors . I like it a lot actually , it gives it purpose because I don't use it much , I also painted the trim beneath your feet .
I need to find door sills for both front and back because the ones I have are dirty and scratched . I would paint them but even with a really good clear coat they sills would take so much wear and tear it wouldn't last long. So I'm searching online through oem parts.
Plan on painting the seatbelt cover sills tomorrow (black)

1.) extend the ground wire of your LEDs . Make sure you have a good length more is better then less.
2.) remove the front driver side floor sills and the sill that is to the left of you while your driving
( where you seat belt goes into )
3.) run the wire from the console to under neath the pedals to the trim which you should have removed by now .
4.)unscrew what I showed you in the picture . (The little rubber grommet inbetween the door .)
5.) if you examine it you'll see like the brown little rods or pieces of metal in it .
When you push the grommet in you'll see them lift up .
6.) when they lift up slip the ground wire in there so the metals are touching:
7.) put it back together test for functionality .
when you open the door they should turn on and when the door is closed they should be off.
No you can't turn it on any more manually . Only when the door opens .
And yes I do have the remote key access . No they will not turn on the lights unless you some how wire it to the unlock/lock system .
