Im having a lil problem with installing my custom mesh grill. First of all, how do you attach the mesh to the stock silver backing? (its that metal backing that shows when you take off the stock grill. I have the mesh grill ready, but i cant seem to find anyway for it to stay on without falling. I heard about using black zip ties, but i cant find any. I need help quick, cant keep driving around with no grill

I put the zip ties through the screw holes and then through the mesh on the grill and it stays really well. I just tightened then real loosly. Some people put in bolts, but that's a little too professional for me.

I attached my mesh to the stock backing with zip ties, and it has held very well. I just had to be careful when I sipped them up because if you do them super tight, you will bend the new grill piece. It looks really nice if you change out the pieces in the bottom too, and you can also put some intake ducting in the sides after you do that...but back on topic.

my zip ties have held well, and since they are black it's hard to see them. Also, I painted the chrome parts in the back of the stock backing so it would look better. I'm not sure if you can tell it the picture, but it helped a lot. I think I am going to do the yellow parts flat black too...
