Exclamation Custom Mesh Grill

i searched, countless post and threads and didnt find my direct answer...

basicallly has anybody done a custom grill on there lancer, and know i dont mean the highly expensive one sold on rrm or other sites. I mean custom mesh grill from home depot or any other construction/wearhouse store and mounted it themself. Thing is i want to do my own, and im not gonna spend close to $200 on what these sites make in shop for probably less than $50. Also if you have pics and steps on how to do it, please show it here. Anything will help... thanks

Are you asking about making your own mold to lay fiberglass yourself? Or do you mean just pulling out the grill and inserting mesh like the posts above?

I don't think he means chicken wire literally, but the different kinds of mesh you can find alongside the chicken wire at a hardware store. Many people use metal lath, rain gutter screen, or expanded sheet metal.

I like that grill, IMO you should pain the frame behind it black since it kinda looks funny with a yellow bar behind it. Otherwise, cool looking with the cheap chicken wire.

I thought about painting that stuff behind it, but everyone told me it would look better like it is...can anyone photoshop and make it all black so I could see what it would look like?
