Apex II kit....

I recently ordered the apex II kit. I saw in another thread a member saying he had to remove his rear reinforcment bar, is this true? Appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

As far as I heard you do have to remove the rear reinforcement to mount it, I'm not sure because my kit is from shark racing. But when i was looking into the Accolade kits, they were tellin me that you do have to remove the reinforcements...best of luck to you man...and post pics when done...

when I requested info on the Apex II kit, they gave me the option of the short or regular rear... so unless you specified, you probably got the short one

apex II

The apex II kit from accolade still requires you to remove the rear bar, it doesnt have to be cut though jus un bolted..... the front one can stay.

here is some pics of my car on accolades site. http://www.body-kit.com/ride08.html

Yea...you're goin to have to remove the reinforcement if you get the kit from accolade unless you order a US spec fitted kit. I got mine from Shark Racing and the front is the Apex I style, Sides are Apex I, and the rear is like this...mine went on clean and as you can see the only problem I have is that I need to tighten the bolts right behind the rear tire...and I also need a place for a license plate...
