Most car shows do the judging on a point system. They usually judge exterior, interior, engine bay, trunk, sometimes rims...things like that... Now if you enter a competition for say "best paint" or "lowest w/o air or hydraulics" or something like that, then they look for other stuff...but if you just enter say 4-door import mild, youll be judged on interior, exterior, trunk, and engine bay, most likely anyway...

Make sure your car is spotless too, not a spec of dirt anywhere.

Dpends on what your competing for. Generally if you enter mild or wild categories they will judge on everything.
or if you enter in for interior, then they check interiors, and so on.
Pretty much your car must be immaculate. Make it shine like its never shined b4. Take a look at some show pics, youll get the idea.

just a warning wash and polish everything a day or 2 before. Then when you pull your car in, start polishing and cleaning before you leave the car. figure you looking to at least 9 hours prep work all together.
good luck

When you drive your car over there, make sure your shoes are clean. Or take out the carpet in front of your seat and put it back once you get there. So if you have crap on your shoes, it will be hidden once you put the carpet back in
