Out of curiosity, how many military cats do we have on that are in driving distance from the NoVA area? I was reading something in Stars and Stripes about a military car show in Europe, i forget which garrison it was on though. So it got me to thinking. I know a bunch of car guys on Belvoir that would prolly be down with something like this. Between Meade, Andrews, Myers, Quantico, and all the other bases in the area, we could prolly get a pretty good show together. Maybe even get some of the shops in the area involved. What do yall think? Any proceeds that the show makes can be donated to a military charity. Think about, have a good time showing off your vehicle for a damn good cause. Sounds like a good idea to me. Post up with some interest.

 

I know of one Military guy up here in Aberdeen, MD. He has an Evo... I saw him one night, I was look to get a couple of races in and I noticed him going in the other direction (he was leaving the base)

 

I'd definitely like to do something like this and then donate any proceeds to a military charity. Preferably something for wounded troops or a group that sends care packages downrange. Hopefully I can generate some interest in this and actually make it happen.

They Are A Some In Ftbragg,nc. Not To Far From You Guys

 

Last time I was in Braggistan, I gotta say I saw some sick cars. Everything from nice SRT-4s to sick EVOs and 350Z's. Keep us posted if you guys have some good shows down there. Its only a 4 hour drive or so. Get a convoy of cars together and roll down in style.

I'm at Meade and be interested, when I was in the UK we had a 4th of July show on post, we also had events on base while I was in Japan, and last year we had a car show at Nellis AFB in L.V. so let me know if you need help organizing.
