Well seeing as how the other thread turned into a crap-slinging fest (partly my fault) I figured it was time to start a new thread for the same original purpose. So let whoever is interested read up on all the juicy drama and we'll try to keep this one centered around the "goings on" around this area.

im up, think im gonna try and do a couple runs with this new drop in and tune i got sunday............hoping on 12.5, but yeah im down for FF this week.

rob, its not a tune, thats a bad word lol, its actually just a base flash for the drop in that i with Matt's help fine tuned because it was off quite a bit in some areas...

i can tell a difference though slightly on the spool up. i guess we will see friday hopefully.

 

they (whoever they actually is i dont know) say that a drop in is good for 3 to 5 whp ... and with that modded base flash i'd say it could be 2 or 3 more who knows... i bet you will knock 2 10ths off but that could be because of weather as well..

but hey guys im wondering if you know anyone that has a front bumper they are tryin to get rid of, the bottom lip portion of mine just got FU**KED up tonight. its a long story and ill explain when i see ya guys again but the lip is tore up to oblivion in my opinion. i think i can get away with just replacing the lip. it hit a ditch and left a big huge scratch on it and kinda bent the lip....................very mad i am yes but it actuality it was all my fault.........................im gonna look around for one on here.

 

one of the dealerships on here is selling the 9 SE lip for less than 200 unpainted... should only be about 70 to paint it... or you could go carbon lip or you could buy mine from me, let me go carbon lip and pay the difference lol

there are no kits on that page... not for the evo anyway, i searched the site and there are only a few on there that are cheap in price, plenty more cheap in appearance and build. Like i said in my PM, you get what you pay for. I'll help you either way...but one way is a hell of a lot easier and in the end looks better. Painting a body kit you are also looking at at least 600 off the car and then the appearance is slightly different unless you do what matt did with his 626 and have it painted off the car and then buffed after being mounted on the car to blend the paint a little better...

honestly though, unless you are going with a well known kit, id still with the SE lip... or just buy my lower lip and i will get my carbon fiber lip... maybe, we will have to check the pricing... if its your whole bumper you are looking at about 6 or 700 from the dealership unpainted, or you can get it cheaper on the forums somewhere or just get a whole new front bumper and you wont need the lower lip... One of us is looking at the Ings kit, but he wont be buying the front bumper... you can always look at that
