ive got a silver 05.

 

we ran into another guy we have never talked to before today... he has a silver 03 he just bought... not much done to it, just samco hosing and an exhaust manifold cover, looked to have the MR gauge kit as well as another set of the same looking gauges in it. He is suppose to be calling us before friday...

Johny, i told him about your pipe and BOV you have and he said he wanted to buy it maybe. I told him about the boards as well so hopefully he will find his way here.

I saw a silver one leave leith yesturday - i wander if that was him. hopefully he will be out for FF and i can sell him that pipe. I got that rattle fixed today, it was a small exhaust heat shield rusted out just like we thought it was (F*ckin Chicago weather). he cut the shield part off so now i have an excuse to get a TBE. now i just need to stop by ECC to get my front bumper repainted.

evojacko - with yours and this new guy that should make 4 silver evos in fayetteville (correct me if i'm wrong jason or brian)

 

I know of 2 more silver evo VIII's that park at the SOAF where I go to lang school @. one is an '05 MR and the other is an '03/'04 but a chick CPT drives it both are stock

I think I decided on Buschurs 35r turbo kit w/ alky/meth today, I just need to buy a couple things first before I take the plunge. not exactly sure when Ill be able get the kit but hopefully before the end of the year


Jason - can you do me a favor? If you have the Odyssey pc680 battery can you take the external measurements for me (L x W x H) Im gonna start fabbing up my battery tray and order my battery tonight or tomorrow. $100 shipped w/ terminals is the best deal I could find from a place in CO. Itll probably be here sometime mid next week

wow, maybe i'm wrong but this looks like things are turning into a rice market. body kits, front bumpers? i'd prefer sticking to performance mods. just my cup of tea for myself and for the evo reputation. hope this doesn't turn into a rice forum, thats all next thing you know people on this thread will be saying a magnaflow muffler will add 20whp to your stock exhaust

 

And the point of that post was? If you aren't going to contribute something to this thread, go start your own. Some of us are being adults here and moving away from the B.S.....and we have our own opinion on what we should do with Evos. We don't need yours.

Not to get this off topic, but i love how you chose to not respond to my last post on the other thread... i asked a simple question... so either you dont have an answer ? your answer doesnt make sense to you either ? or you just choose to ignore it.

PLEASE DONT RESPOND TO THAT LAST PARAGRAPH IN THIS FORUM, PLEASE POST IN THE OTHER ONE SO WE ALL CAN AVOID OUR IDIOTIC DRAMA.... SEEMS AS IF WE ARE AL AND SHIV and for whatever reason, i have no clue, still waiting on one.

 

Vivids site is down for the time being. I'm probably going to retain the stock bumper as I dont want to be called a ricer lol. I'll check out ECC and get an estimate...thanks for the number.

 

another good paint shop believe it or not is the toyota dealership bodyshop..... what i would do, is get your estimates like you are suppose to.... get the payment from the insurance company and then do what you need to do... you may end up pocketing some money that way... hope things work out for ya...
