I just want to take off my first mistake (K&N Typhoon). I search here and most of the people said the BR intake is one of best ones. I don't know about AMS's intake.

buschur's intake works fine, i just dont like the angle it comes out at... i have the HKS, i like that, Brian has an AMS, Chris, the buschur.... just depends on what style you like. If you buy an AMS front mount, you will have to use their upper or stock upper i believe.... if you buy buschur's front mount.... it comes with a lower, but you will have to use their upper for sure...and it works great with their intake, not too bad with any of the other ones either. i like the buschur pipe because its polished, but i like the AMS design a lot better... its more secure. just whatever upper you go with, make sure you have it flanged for the universal BOV flange.... otherwise you will be playing my game lol...

Yes, don't mix and match piping if at all possible. If you want AMS stuff, stick with them. If you want Buschur stuff, stick with them. The intakes are nothing but a bent piece of aluminum tubing...there is nothing special about either of them. AMS uses a K&N cone filter and I'm not sure what brand Buschur uses.

I like the EB...much better than the older BBY in my opinion. You'd definitely be the only one with it so it gets my vote too!

Got my car back today! Time to order some stronger axles....

looks like it will be pretty good on the govt insurance claim............so far jdm rear, c west front (still deciding on that one) chris's wing, painted skirts, perrin or ams FMIC and prolly an HKS intake. thats just for ext and performance. still gotta get the gauge situation under wraps.

jason- im supposed to go talk to SGM Degrof over @ 3rd so hopefully he can get me a job there. he is friend of a friend so maybe he will work. i wouldnt mind talkin to your guy that way i got a backup..........thanks for the help on this i really need to get outta this hell hole division..............lol

degrof will be able to help you more then the 1sg in charge of my bat...but more then likely you will end up in my bat either way. degroff is a good guy and is pretty old if i remember him right lol. just when you get to my bat, dont tell them you are the ammo guy lol.

as far as your mods, dont forget your LICP ... id go with what you are planning on getting if they are just giving you money... JDM rear, whatever front, but try and make it polyurethane instead of fiberglass, LICP whoever you want... I'd leave out the FMIC unless you really wanna do it, get a ported and coated 02 and manifold, i think you can get it from buschur for about 450 for both..... that will give you some serious torque from what i have been reading about them and the IX. i wouldnt paint your side skirts unless your front bumper has black on the bottom, i think it wouldnt look right... too much contrast. As far as intake goes... thats up to you, noone recommends it, i notice a difference with my buttometer but how accurate is that lol. if you go with buschur or ams FMIC you will need their upper pipes and which means you will need a mini battery as well...... all things to consider.

see if you can get hold of a passenger side front caliper ... mine is peeling..... damn mitsu is being asses about it as usual.

really, just puttin on a stock O2 and exhaust mani thats ported and polished will make a difference. **** i might just do that then. i guess for intake i could wait. still think i wanna at least do a front mount. but worse case ill at least get an ams lower pipe if it fits on the stock IC. but with that being said remember the slight dent in the bottom of the IC?? you think im losing anything cause of it??? if not ill prolly just wait for the re-up bonus.......
