Lightbulb New Owner, What should I do

My name is Tyler and I got a 2002 Lancer ES for Christmas. I am new to the whole car thing considering this is my first car. I have $250 right now and am looking for a job. Can anyone point me in the right direction to making my car look and sound good? Please help.

If your looking for sound, get a muffler. It will run you between 100 - 150. And it will look good also!

I got a flowmaster. It makes my car sound like I might actually have something under the hood.

Hey, I just realized I'm Evolving!!!

Anyway, back to the subject. You can also look at getting a short-ram intake. RRM has a great one for about 150.

Whats up tyler! Welcome to the forums man

Sound eh? if you want a really nice (not ricey\farting noise) sound, then save up some money and get an injen short ram intake (buy it at: www.ptuning.com) and the greddy evo catback exhaust (buy it at: www.roadracemotorsports.com)!!

This is what i'm using (well.. i'm about to drop $2500 or so into performance parts.., so i wont sound like that anymore soon...) but it really sounds great and comes highly recommended!

They are both a... "higher class" of intake and exhaust.... so they are pretty pricey...

Just my recommendation, I know you said you were tight on money-- but the gains and sound are worth it bro!

Good luck

- Rob

Hey, suyfergirl... been a long time.

I like my APEX'i WS custom cat back, and it cost me about 200. Of course, I think that my muffler somehow got lost in transit to whereever it was supposed to go...

for looks there are several little diy jobs you can do to make your lancer look better like: painting headlights, painting grille, debadging trunk, etc

Truth. Just, please, don't roll on stock wheels, stock everything, and just add altezzas. That looks awful, in my opinion.

oh also you can get bright white headlights like sylvania silverstars, change your dash bulbs to other colors, and get a intake adapter and filter for cheap on ebay.
