why is this... why do 02-03 w/ evo 7 kit not look like an evo.. is it just me what else is different about them.. body wise.

 

are you confusing the evo8 and evo7? it looks liek thte evo7 to me, not exactly but it gets the idea across.

 

because the evo7 kit is only a front end conversion? the front end looks like an evo7 to me..

 

well a good reason y they don't really look like them is because Accolade makes body kits that don't remove the reinforcment bars. That is good, but in other words that can't make them look totally like the evo 7/8. So instead of giving up safety they jus altered the looks a little. Accolade was thinking about us drivers and our safety . pluz with the removal of the reinforcement bars, it could void your insurace. so its better to have them, than not have them an get totally skrewed in some way.

 

wheel wells, fenders, grille...its all slightly different...hard to get the exact same look as we have the reinforcement bars and the fact that under their skin, they're completely different cars...hard to do cosmetic repilcation when bone structure is all off...

 

if the kit came with replacement fenders and new rear quarter panels, you'd confuse it with an evo VII

 

no im not getting them confused. maybe its just me yeah they look kinda the same.. but look at a evo 7 from the side then look at the lancer it doesnt look the same... i guess its cause its just a front end but what else is dif about the 7. look at a evo 8 and the 04 lancer with a evo 8 kit on and they look exact.. BTW i love the kits for the 04 lancer that Accolade has.. makes me want one... i dont really like them other wise

 

bro... anyone who doesnt know about mitsu's WILL think ur car is an EVO

 

the 04 headlights on the lancer are WAY different from those on the Evo VIII... I wouldnt say they look "exact"

 

really the back of a evo 7 is dif than our car. yeah but if u dont know about evos u should breathe

 

yah no doubt about that. but also its the evo 7s and the lancers are built differently, but the new evo 8s and 04 lancers have a more similar build structure

 

All the EVO VII kits keep the "soft" fender lines. Also, the headlights and tail lights are different on the EVO VII's.
