EVO 7 + 8 hood and front bumper fitting on Lancer

Hey,
i did a search and nothing to what i'm asking i could find in about 10-15 minutes of searching. Now to the questions.
Would an EVO 7 Hood + bumper or EVO 8 hood + bumper fit on a US lancer. Now i dont mean a EVO 7 conversion or anything, i mean a body kit that was made to fit an EVO 7 or EVO 8.
Lets say u got a like DAMD or Creative sports body kit for the EVO 7 or 8 and u got ur reinforcement bar taken out then u got EVO 7 or 8 headlights to fit the body kit and EVO 7 or 8 fenders. Would either of them be able to fit? Logicly i think it would i might now know at all what im talking about.

This might be a good question or a really bad one.

i dont think so, look more closely at both of them...the wheel wells are smaller and fenders are higher on the lancer, i dont think it's as wide as the evo either.

you'd haveta modify not only the bumper, but hood, fenders and headlights as well. that would take lotsa body work and re-wiring the headlights. it would look dope if someone did it.

You got your answer. I can be done but with lots of modifacation to either the kit, your car, or both. Anything can be done but you need to have lots of time and money. No its not gunna be a direct bolt on though.

I dont think it could cost that much money if it was EVO 7 its boxy like are cars. EVO 8 would be different... but either one i dont think it would take THAT much money. And if u gave it to a shop no time I just want to see what people have to say in a explaining way besides "it cant be done if u have money" but it seems nobody is saying anything about how realistic it is.

thats kinda what i thought
I mean, everything on the middle of the car looks the same
the difference is fenders, hood, and bumper, but i could be wrong also and the frame itself may be somewhat different.

You would more than likely need a whole front clip. We're talking the frame, the fenders, the fenderwells, the bumper, the headlights, and the hood. Your shop will need to literally strip the front of your car, including ur engine bay and snip off the whole front of it and weld the front clip of the Evo onto your car. Then you would have to find a way to "blend" the fenders in with the rest of the car since the evo is in fact a few inches wider than the lancer is. Also the re-wiring of the electrical system to accomodate the HID's and stuff then u gotta worry about getting ur engine back in and bolting it up to the evo's engine bay (since you welded the evo's front clip onto your car). Good luck, lots of money, blood, sweat and manpower will be needed to pull this off.
