I have a Silver Lancer and i just bought Eye LIds for my car. I want to get some other peoples opinions on what color i should paint them. well i still have the stock grille, which i black mesh, and i was thinking that i could keep the eye lids black to match the grille or should i paint them silver to match the car. i did some reseach on the other people that have eyelids and i havnt found anyone that has them black. if you have a black pair on a silver lancer please post pics!! thanks, or if your a master of the PS could someone please chop me a pair on...THANKS!!

Yah I was having the same thoughts.....

I think once I get my Ralliart Grille I'm going to paint the lids black to match the mesh....I'll try and photoshop that picture and see how it turns out...gimmie 15 min.

 

naah just go with silver to blend back in with the colour of your car...looks much more nicer

yeah i like the black but i think i might get the ralliart grille also so, i think im just gonna do the black for now. then when i get the grille ill have it painted

i think painted looks better

cf is one thing but black is a whole different ballgame

in my opinion if u do cf then do the hood and grill also otherwise stick with stock color

 

SFXcore, where are you getting the ralliart grill from? with the setup you have right now, keep the eyelids silver. black the heads out urself?

 

Keep the eyelids the color of the car. It doesn't look right if it matches the grill. Although you may want to play with painting the mesh of your grill the same color as the car. I did that with mine and it looks awesome. Just a thought.

 

The 2 eyelids RRM sells, carbon and fiberglass, are they the same shape? they seem to look different in the pics on there site
