JDM eyelids

Hey guys I just got my JDM eyelids from Hong Kong. I only paid $30 for them and got them in like 2 weeks.

Can't remember who I paid to get them but she was on this boards, I think Jenz03 or something like that

Moving on, as you can see I am in the chicago land area, where should I go to get them painted? Are the paint/color codes universal? How much should I expect to pay?

thanks

go to a local body shop they will be able to color match off of the paint code listed on your door, i wouldn't expect to pay more than $50 but that is in my area.

no man, do it urself, u get a can at canadian tire, and u can do it with one small can man, like 8 bucks only and clearcoat can is like 10bucks.

i did it myself and it looks bodyshop quality, no chipping, i'll update my pics in my profile soon.

i put on like 7-8 thin base coats and like 5 clear coats. and it looks awesome, they would surely charge u like 50$ at bodyshop.

by the way, if ur in the US the paint should cost even cheaper cuz the above i mentioned was for CDN dollars.

hmmm so i should just take the paint code number and go to my local auto store or hardware store or what??? I know where they sell paint but don't want to get the wrong color

i like the idea of doing it myself, thanks for the personal experience

no, they are a piece that goes on the top of the stock lancer headlights to make them look thinner.
